Hey all,
As some of you may know I was part of a High Life inspired band called the King Expressers that was based on the music of my good and extremely talented friend Mr. Mikey Freedom Hart. After a while of playing together and writing some new songs with the rest of the band (that includes Mitchell Yoshida on Keys & David Dawada on bass) we felt it wasn’t really same band and we were drawing from vastly different influences that the previous music we were playing.

Well saying all that was just to tell you that we went into the studio the other day to being the process of making some recorded material for the masses to enjoy. It’s a home recording that we are doing all on our own at Mikey’s Place…

We are doing another few days the first weekend in February. I can’t wait for all of you guys to hear it.
